Homeopathic remedies for Heatstroke
Did you know there are some cool remedies that can help if you’ve had a bit too much sun and are feeling the heat.
Belladonna
On first indication, with a sudden onset of symptoms. Redness, with intense heat felt in the part. Headache which is worse for sun (photophobia), walking and jarring. Headache better, relived with a cold compress and pressure
Keynote; Symptoms come on suddenly.
Gluonium
Congestive headache, Pulsating with flushes of the face.
Symptoms that come and go with the sun and exposure to. Feeling hot in chest. Better for laying in the dark.

Camphora
An important remedy for heatstroke where there are Chills associate with a state of collapse.
A pulsing headache specially at the occiput. Coldness with shivering.
Restless form exposure to sunlight and becomes quarrelsome especially at night.
Internal coldness felt in the chest. Cystitis with burning painful urination.
Keynote; Chilly, but patient doesn’t want to be covered.
Homeopathic Remedies for Sunburn
Sol
From mild to severe. Is useful where skin is itchy and red. Sensitivity to sunlight.
Rashes which may result in peeling, on exposed areas.
Sensation of heat with the rash. Itching which is worse at night.
Cantharis
Sunburn with Blisters. Restless with serve pain after burning. To promote healing. Vesicles itching with great burning. Cold applications relieve.
Urtica Urens
Burns Especially 1st and 2nd degree. With sensitivity and stinging pain. Urticaria from overheating and exertion.
Apis
Burns where there are stinging pains. With swelling “like that of the bee”. Redness with oedema, feels as if the skin would rip.
Sulphur
Lots of itching with sunburn where the skin becomes dry. Urge to scratch, despite feeling sore. Maybe worse for washing, or at night. Worse for heat of the bed.
