HELLEBOUROUS (The Winter Rose)
We start this countdown with Helleborus the Christmas Rose
For many of us Christmas is a time for celebration for family and sharing however Helleborus this is not the case.
Helleborus is indicated for a person when all seem lost to them, so much so, there is great stupefaction. A person needing this remedy may feel cut off from this world, in hell. When observing other happiness, they become very unhappy themselves. Other times feeling very emotion little at all.
Symptoms can be a result of concussion or the ill effects from a head injury. Rubbing of the brow when trying to concentrate. Optical headaches, a vacant look, staring. They may roll or shake their head, as if to clear its goings on.
There may be wandering pains, sleepiness. Chilly and worse for cold air cold with every part of the body becoming cold.
Helplessness is a keynote, and there is difficultly in concentration. Slow and forgetful.
